Practicing the Way

Lisa Nelson
The Practicing the Way video course will invite you to continue growing in your spiritual formation, whether you’re at the beginning or well established in your journey with Jesus. Our goal as apprentices of Jesus is to be with Jesus, become like Jesus and do what Jesus did. Key components of the course are: 1) Prayer. 2) Formation audit; assessment of your personal soul care right now. 3) Scripture reading; Lectio Divina. 4) Sabbath. 5) Meeting God in pain and suffering; dealing with emotions. 6) Healing from sin; confession. 7) Rule of Life. 8) Life Together; doing life in community. For homework each week, we will read sections of John Mark Comer’s book ($14 purchase on Amazon) and do various spiritual practices.
Truth Rising

Elizabeth Sands
Truth Rising is the Charles Colson Center study which is based on a documentary by Os Guinness. The study is designed to move Christians from feeling powerless in the face of cultural decline to recognizing their God-given calling in history. The four essential concepts are interconnected and provide a framework by which we can a) approach our civilizational moment, b) know the true story of reality, c) know the truth about who we are, and d) know how to live in light of God's truth. Videos, discussion and prayer are part of each session.
Alpha

Brenda Brainerd, Len and Claire Kruse
Alpha creates a safe space to explore the basics of Christian faith with others. Following dinner and a video each week, there will be an opportunity to have honest conversations and share with others.
Marriage Group

Stacey & Deanna Murphy
Experience what marriage is meant to be. God has designed marriage to be a supportive, loving, life-giving relationship that mirrors His own unconditional love for us. The Re|engage study will help you better understand that design and learn how to apply it to your own marriage. Re|engage is for one man-one woman couples who are married (in other words, this is not for seriously dating, engaged or cohabitating couples). Previously married couples who are separated or divorced and are considering reconciliation are encouraged to attend as well. There is a book to purchase for each participant that costs $15.00.
